Elements and Principles of Graphic Design
LOGO
Lines- A line connects two points. Its straight and has no curves or edges etc. Used to form shapes. Can represent mood. use lines to organize, texture, guide the eye, provide movement, make a statement, convey universal meanings.
Mass- The weight and volume of an object. Gives off a sense of physical feeling. Types of shapes, Mechanical shapes, natural shapes. visual weight of something. it's also the relative size.
Texture- The feel something has to it, this can be exposed through touch or sight. Visual or tactile. THe texture that appears from desighn elements (not the sensation). The actual texture that you can feel.

Balance- Is having equal weight on both sides of a design piece ( shapes, colors, or lines, etc. )
Proximity- How close together certain objects are to one another.
Alignment- agreement in a straight line, or in a appropriate relative position.
Repetition- The same pattern over and over again.
Contrast- Being strikingly different than something else
White Space- The blank space on a design.
